New operating model & organizational structure
New commercial opportunities required the bank to quickly expand to new markets but despite large investments the delivery speed and quality did not improve as expected. OPX Partners was engaged and started by doing an in-depth analysis to understand the underlying causes, uncovering bottlenecks in processes and unclear roles and responsibilities. The team then together with the IT management designed a new operating model including organizational structure, roles, and responsibilities, main processes, meeting structure as well as metrics. The new operating model was then tested in a large workshop with all IT employees before the implementation began. The IT management team drove the implementation with support from OPX Partners. The result was a more efficient IT organization that could ramp up the development speed and improve the quality of the services provided.
