Program management office kept attention to turn-around plan, realizing EUR 10 million

A global consumer goods manufacturer had, after years of profitable growth, experienced stalling sales and a steep fall in profits

During an accelerated process, management established a set of turnaround initiatives aimed at bringing the company back to historical profit levels. OPX Partners led the program management office for the turnaround plan.

The turnaround initiatives stretched across regions and functions. Several of the initiatives were multi-functional with deep interdependencies, hence managing timing, effects, stakeholders and sequencing was critical. OPX Partners’ role was to help management set up and communicate the change program, develop plans jointly with project leaders, oversee progress, deep dive to resolve roadblocks when needed and track and report status of the program.

The turnaround program effect was above EUR 10 million. OPX Partners’ management of the program was a significant enabler to ensure progress and impact realization.
